Painted in a more refined style than the previous work, this painting depicts a scene of seduction, as an elegant young man obsequiously encourages a young woman to enjoy a glass of wine. However, the knowing smile on her face as she turns to the viewer indicates that he, rather than she, is the one being seduced.
