Very little is known about this genre painter.
Osborn was born in England and moved to London with her family in
1848. She studied art in London and later in Munich and began
exhibiting at the Royal Academy when she was only 17 years old.
She had a long and successful career and her work came to the attention
of Queen Victoria who purchased several of her paintings.
