 We don't know much about this period of time but one thing is for sure, these Sone Age cave dwellers were artists, and not only artists in that they could describe in visual terms the animals that they came in daily contact with. Cave painting is much more than that: it is art in the grand manner, manifested in works of subtlety and power that have never been surpassed.
